About COS

Chesterfield Operatic Society (COS) is Chesterfield’s award-winning  amateur dramatic society for adults. The society currently consists of 83 members ranging from 18-78, all coming together with their shared love of theatre. We’ve been entertaining audiences since our first show in 1905, and have a proud history of high-quality productions and a reputation for talent, inclusivity and community spirit.

As members of NODA (National Operatic Dramatic Association), we’re committed to excellence both onstage and off.
